Japanese Pottery Making
In this 3-day, hands on workshop, students will learn how to create various utilitarian pottery forms like a yunomi, bowl, teapot and sake bottle and vase inspired by Japanese culture and our clay journey from Shigaraki, Japan to Seagrove, NC. We will also talk about our materials and clay that we use and how it is sourced. In this workshop, you will learn practical Japanese pottery making techniques. Thursday, July 7th Artist Talk 4 pm - 5 pm
The class meets July 8th - 10th from 9am - 4pm with a one-hour break at noon.
