Great minds work together! Young artists will work in a collaborative environment to create large scale works of art to be displayed in the Eckerd Children’s Gallery throughout the summer. Working together to create something amazing is fun and challenging. Build those creative skills with The Bascom this summer!

This 3-day summer youth workshop is for young artists ages 7-12 and runs from 10am - 1pm on June 23rd, 24th and 25th.

The Covid-19 global pandemic then required us to wear a different type of mask daily, and many people became comfortable hiding behind their masks. Let’s get back to the more fun and dramatic types of masks used in plays and performances, and create some alter egos!

This 3 day workshop includes making pots, developing patterns, and getting those patterns onto the pots. The class will discuss how to approach a pot for decoration and what surface techniques will yield the results they desire. Students will develop their own surface patterns and learn how to carve these patterns into their work.
