Bascom Clay Symposium
Important Weather Update
In light of Hurricane Helen and the expected heavy rainfall in Highlands, NC, over the next several days, we have made the difficult decision to cancel The Bascom Clay Symposium events scheduled for this Friday and Saturday. This also includes the cancellation of the Soda Kiln Celebration and Dedication. Given the current weather forecasts, we believe this is the best course of action to ensure everyone's safety.
We are working to reschedule the Symposium and Soda Kiln Celebration for 2025 and will provide updates with the new dates and details as soon as they are confirmed. If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out via email at
