Painting From Life with Armand Cabrera
View the Supply List HERE
In this class we will work from life, indoors and outside. We will work on at least one painting a day, indoor still life, outdoor still life, and outdoor landscape.
Painting from life is a fundamental necessity for good representational painting. It is a different discipline than copying photographs. This class will cover all aspects needed to improve your skills working from life.
We will split our time working in the studio and outdoors. Armand will demo every day. This workshop will focus on key solutions to issues many artists struggle with, mixing clean color, seeing light and dark values correctly, and designing interesting compositions.
Armand will guide each student individually to improve their work no matter what their painting experience is. An intense but fun and non-competitive environment.
