Artist Bio
I am an artist and art educator originally from the Northeast. I moved to Charleston in 2017, where shortly after I joined Redux Contemporary Art Center as a resident artist. It was at Redux that I first dipped my toe into the world of art education, which has since become a full-blown career. I am currently the art teacher at Sanders Clyde Creative Arts School, where I also work to develop arts integration curriculum for the Charleston County school District. I continue to teach both adult and children’s art classes at Redux, where my studio is. In my personal work as a figurative painter, I strive to communicate narratives, surrounding the human experience, and create images that can bring people together.
