- Check your email (Don't see it in your inbox? Check your junk/spam folder and mark it as not junk/spam)
- Click on the activation link in the email and... Voila! You're good to go!
14th Annual Bascom Clay Symposium
Rescheduled for 2025, The Bascom proudly presents artists Christine Kosiba, Andrea Keys Connell, and Taylor Robenalt, showcasing Animal and Figurative Ceramic Sculpture. Through hands-on demonstrations and shared stories, participants will explore techniques like hollow building, armature work, and porcelain sculpting, emphasizing surface design, anatomy, and narrative detail. Join us to learn from these celebrated artists and elevate your ceramic practice.

Saturday Sojourn with Paint - Bold Expressive Portraits
Join Cath Connolly Hudson’s Saturday Sojourn workshop as we explore unique approaches to
capturing the essence of a portrait in one session. The three hour class is designed for beginners. We’ll build on ideas from abstract and symbolic portraiture from Picasso, de Kooning and Kahlo and complete a portrait together.

Will Dickert Artist Talk
Join us for an artist talk with Will Dickert.
Out of the Round and Into the Fire : A Handbuilding and Soda Firing Exploration
Explore handbuilding techniques and atmospheric soda firing in this intensive five-day workshop. Participants will create original bisque molds, explore slab, coil, and pinch methods, and develop handbuilt forms in stoneware clay. The class also covers kiln loading, firing cone 10-11 soda pieces, and glaze/slip techniques. Bring cone 10 stoneware or porcelain pieces to fire, and gain hands-on experience with The Bascom’s new soda kiln. Open to handbuilders and wheel-throwers alike.
