Bascom Clay Symposium Sponsorship
Summary:
Each year, the Bascom Clay Symposium brings together three of the nation’s best ceramics artists for a weekend of demonstrations, discussions, and exhibitions. The multi-day program includes a series of public events, including a keynote address and reception. The Symposium brings hundreds of attendees. Thanks to the generosity of Bascom sponsors, the symposium is free to all. 2026 Dates: September 25 & 26*
Dahlia Festival Sponsorship
Summary:
In 2025, the Plateau’s annual Dahlia Festival became a permanent part of The Bascom’s programming. Free events celebrating the glorious dahlia will be held on The Bascom campus including a kick-off reception, the popular single bloom competition and visiting guest speakers from the professional world of dahlias. Floral designers are invited to respond to a work of art in a Bascom exhibition creating beautiful vignettes throughout campus, and floral design courses are offered.
Community Day Sponsorship
Summary:
The Bascom hosts a community-wide, free public event, known as Community Day each year in early July. Community Day offers no-cost arts activities for children and families from 11am-2pm on The Bascom campus and generally welcomes 400 visitors. We also offer Community Day opportunities for partners to participate such as the Highlands-Cashiers Hospital.
