Grace Engel is a handweaver and multi-disciplinary artist based in Asheville, NC. She is a 2021 graduate of the Haywood Community College’s Professional Craft program in Fiber, where she began exploring production methods in weaving. She now balances her time between her craft and working as an assistant to dyer and weaver Kathrin Webber. Before pursuing craft professionally, she prioritized attending artist residencies and participating in craft shows and exhibitions with paintings, drawings and textile work. Grace has had the pleasure of teaching workshops over the past few years on drawing, embroidery, weaving and painting. Her work can be found at select local stores in Asheville, NC.
