Drew English is a celebrated gardener renowned for his deep-rooted expertise and storytelling. His passion for gardening, cultivated since childhood in the lush gardens of Charleston, has flourished in the mountains of Western North Carolina. As steward of High Hampton’s historic Halsted Dahlia Garden, Drew maintains a spectacular collection of 800 heirloom and contemporary dahlias, earning accolades including "Best in Show" at the Highlands Dazzling Dahlia Festival and multiple top honors from the American Dahlia Society.

Beyond his role at High Hampton, Drew's gardening consultancy, "The English Gardener," enhances the natural beauty and historical charm of the Highlands-Cashiers community.
