The Art of Abstract
Bring you sense of adventure and creativity for this intense three-day workshop The Art of Abstract.
This workshop is designed for the new or experienced Abstract Artist working with acrylic painting materials. Leslie will start with a demonstration of the many approaches she uses to create an abstract painting. There will be guided exercises to help you liberate and find your own individual style. We will touch on the color wheel followed by the art of color mixing exciting. We will have guided exercises on the importance of Value Shape Linework Contrast and Design.
You will learn to be generous with yourself. Get out of your comfort zone, let loose your creativity, get rid of that inner critic that has you stuck. So that by the final phase of our exploration, you will be able to put the finishing touches on your own beautiful abstract painting.

Located on the Trail Level (lower level) of The Bascom's main building, Adult Studio B hosts a variety of classes, workshops, and more. Entrance is either through the front door of the main level of the building and down the stairs or from the trail entrance on the lower level of the backside of the main building.
