Groves Web Banner

This workshop will focus on integrating artistic elements of landscape painting with principles of abstraction. Experimenting with mark-making in layers with cold wax using a variety of tools as a way of loosening up, as well as exploring design and composition to push outside the obvious. In addition, we will have heavy discussions and demos on color theory, refining application methods, and individual painting process, to further engage new directions in painting the landscape.
