Playing with the Figurative
This workshop will cover hand building exercises that promote creativity with and through the figure.
Through fast and free thinking exercises, students will be encouraged to let go of the tight parameters of the figure. “Playing” with small busts and wall figures, students will create multiples that interact and can stand as pieces themselves or be used as a maquette for larger works.
Basic hand building skills are required.
There will be a one-hour lunch break from 12 - 1pm.
