Intermediate Woodturning

Tagliarini Web Banner

Students will hone their skills on the three basic cuts, and we will add pull and shear cuts to their repertoire. We will focus on bowls: live edge, round edge, broad rim for enhancements, and a bowl with wings. Students may also expect to do some spindle turning by making a box and a goblet (with or without captured rings). Other projects and diagnostic turning will include a mallet and a tool handle.
