Farmed and Foraged — The basics of sustainable floral arranging featuring local dahlias

Christy Cucuru

Join us for an inspiring afternoon learning to create your own seasonal centerpiece with locally sourced and foraged florals.

Artist and floral stylist Christy Curcuru from Growing Studio (www.growing.studio) will demonstrate how to arrange a lush, statement arrangement while talking you through her basic design philosophy (structural principles, color theory, texture, shape, scale).  Each attendee will receive hands-on guidance throughout the entire process, ending with photographing finished work to cherish forever.  If time allows, Christy will take on questions and will demonstrate how to work with other vessels you might have at home.

You will leave feeling more empowered to buy a bundle of flowers from a local market or snip from your yard and have the confidence to create something beautiful. This workshop caters to all skill levels and everyone is welcome to attend.

* Take home a gorgeous floral arrangement in a keepsake vessel.
* All supplies provided.

About the artist
