Shop at The Bascom

Open mid-May through mid-December, The Shop at The Bascom is chock full of beautiful handmade gifts and treasures for family, friends, and home. All items are high-quality one-of-a-kind pieces in a range of price points.

The shop offers a variety of work by many artists. There are ceramics by Patrick Taylor, the Parmentiers and other area potters; wearable, hand-woven and hand-dyed textiles, such as scarves, shawls and ties by Marge Rohrer, Deborah Bryant and Janet Taylor; jewelry by Lucia Paradisi, Olga King and Lisa Bruns; felt bags and pins by Helen Newton; note cards and hand-knit baby cloths by Fayne Ansley; and hand-turned wooden bowls by Don Krebs. In addition, find mementos that are chosen as complements to a current exhibition.

When you make a purchase, proceeds benefit The Bascom and the artist who made the work. Your purchase helps the arts thrive in Western North Carolina.
