A Community of Donors

The Highlands, Cashiers and Franklin communities and surrounding region have been very supportive and generous, raising over $9 million for our capital campaign (out of a total capital budget of about $15 million). Our support is broad-based. We have received donations (for both capital and operations) from over 1,000 individuals and organizations. 

The community recognizes the need for a vibrant visual art center to provide inspiration through excellence in education and exhibition. Our supporters run the gamut, including generous local and seasonal residents, local professionals and business people, multi-generation natives, parents whose children we teach, and other donors from all over the Southeast.
