Donations

We have many ways for people to donate to The Bascom:

Membership

Your annual membership supports the high-quality educational services we provide for adults and children in the Highlands-Cashiers area and beyond. An annual membership in The Bascom starts at $35 and offers a host of benefits, including a discount on classes, opportunities for artists to participate in members' exhibitions, and more. Members at the Director's Circle level ($1,000+) also receive a discount at our gallery shop, plus invitations to exclusive events. Capital Campaign

Funds are still needed to cover remaining construction costs. Naming opportunities are still available, and supporters at the $10,000+ level are listed on the Donor Wall in the atrium. Engraved bricks and pavers are also for sale; these serve as the walkway in front of the Studio Barn for $300 (brick) or $1,100 (paver). Preserve your name or that of a loved one forever! Endowment Fund

You can help underwrite a community legacy. To sustain excellence in our regional art center, the goal for our Bascom Endowment Fund is $10 million in commitments by 2018. These will be permanent funds invested so that the income can fund renowned art education and exhibitions, as well as major maintenance on our campus. We invite our members and friends to consider estate gift plans and pledges to build this endowment. Your support will underwrite unique visual art experiences for your grandchildren’s grandchildren and for many more future art lovers. Those who make gifts of $10,000 and above are recognized on The Bascom's Donor Wall in the atrium. Legacy Society

We invite you to make a codicil to your will and name The Bascom as a beneficiary. The Bascom leaders would like to talk with you about adding support for our art center as an aspect of your legacy. Legacy Society members will be recognized on a wall in the atrium. Click here to download a Legacy Society form.

One very special way that individuals and businesses can support The Bascom is by becoming a Sponsor of one of our benefit events or education or exhibition programs.
