About the 2009 Autumn Leaves event
On October 2-3, 2009, hundreds of people participated in The Bascom's Autumn Leaves festival, raising many thousands of dollars for the nonprofit visual art center while enjoying two major parties. Friday's elegant Auction Gala at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn drew more than 200 bidders on an array of live and silent auction items amid delectable food and a first-class facility. Saturday's bluegrass-and-barbecue Autumn Leaves Party at The Bascom had more than 450 people dancing, mingling, eating and bidding on the grounds of the art center.
